Microblading is a semi-permanent make-up technique for the eyebrows. Fine strokes of pigment are placed into the upper layers of the skin to mimic the look of natural brow hairs, helping to fill gaps, add shape or give definition to sparse brows. Your appointment begins with a detailed discussion and mapping of the brow shape that best suits your face, so you can see and agree the design before any work starts. In the days after treatment, brows can look darker and sharper before softening as they heal, and the colour may look patchy until your top up. Your therapist will give you full aftercare instructions, which typically include keeping the area clean and dry, avoiding picking, and steering clear of swimming, saunas and heavy sweating for a while.
