What happens during a foot massage at our Bridgwater salon?
You will be settled back in a comfortable position while your therapist works through the feet using targeted pressure and rhythmic strokes. Attention is given to the soles, heels, arches and toes, where tiredness tends to build up after long days standing or walking. The pace is slow and calming, and many clients find it surprisingly relaxing for the whole body. It is a simple treatment that needs very little preparation, so it is easy to fit into your day. Just let your therapist know if any area is especially sore, ticklish or sensitive and they will adjust accordingly. Comfortable, loose trousers make it easier to relax.
How much is a foot massage and what is the foot mask?
Choose the length that suits you. The 30 minute foot massage is £30, booked as 40 minutes, and makes a soothing finish to a facial, head spa or body treatment. The 45 minute session is £40, booked as 55 minutes, giving more time to work through tension and sore spots. For a full hour of pampering, the 60 minute foot massage is £50. You can also add a Foot Mask for £10, a 15 minute hydrating and softening treatment applied after a cleanse and light massage to help moisturise dry skin and leave feet feeling smooth. It works well alongside a foot massage or spa session.
Who is a foot massage good for and how should I care for my feet afterwards?
A foot massage is a lovely choice for people who are on their feet all day, walkers, anyone who finds full body massage too much, or anyone wanting a quiet treat. It is also a relaxing extra to add onto another booking. Afterwards, keep your feet moisturised and wear comfortable shoes if you can. Please let us know about any foot conditions, open cuts, infections, circulation issues or diabetes when booking so your therapist can advise whether the treatment is suitable or needs adapting.
