That combined removal is reserved for existing Bright Smiles clients, because the team needs to know exactly which product is on your nails before removing it. For younger clients, File & Gel Polish With Design for children under 13 costs £20 and takes about 45 minutes, a lovely treat before a birthday party or the school holidays. Finishing touches such as chrome or a French tip can be added from the nail art menu.

How long does gel polish last and how do I look after it?

Many clients find gel polish stays glossy for two to three weeks, although this varies with how quickly your nails grow and how hard your hands work day to day. To help it last, wear gloves for washing up and cleaning, massage in cuticle oil daily and avoid using your nails as tools for opening cans or peeling labels. Please resist picking or peeling the gel off yourself, as this can lift away layers of the natural nail and leave it thin and weak. When you fancy a change, book a removal with your new colour so the old gel comes off gently. If your nails are fragile or you have any sensitivity around the nail, mention it when you arrive and your technician will advise on the best approach for you.
